Why is it called Our Turtle House?

In 2004, Meg Johnson was paralyzed after she accidentally jumped off a 40-foot cliff in Southern Utah called Turtle Rock. In what could have been a devastating event, Meg chose to focus on optimism and gratitude. Knowing that others also have paralyzing “turtle rocks” in their lives, Meg chose to develop a safe “shelter” where members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints could easily access inspirational messages from some of their favorite motivational speakers. She got together with her friends Hank Smith and John Bytheway and, together, they built Our Turtle House…a family-friendly app filled with gospel-centered fun!
